For three and a half years, the REBELION partners have worked together to give used lithium-ion batteries a second life, and to make recycling them safer and faster when that life is over. From 16 to 18 November 2026, we are bringing all of that work to Lyon. At Batteries Event 2026 you can see what we have built, talk to the people behind it and discuss how it can be used in practice.
About Batteries event
For nearly three decades, Batteries Event has been a leading international reference for the battery industry. In 2026, the event returns to Lyon to gather decision-makers, innovators, researchers, and industrial leaders from across the battery value chain.
From materials and manufacturing to recycling, second life, and advanced applications, Batteries Event 2026 offers a unique platform to exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and discover the latest innovations in energy storage.
Visit our booth
You will find the REBELION team in the exhibition area for all three days. Come and see how we test used batteries quickly, take them apart safely with automated systems and track them with a digital label. You can also meet the partners and talk about how this work could support your own activities.
Join our panel
On Wednesday 18 November, 11:15–13:00 CET, REBELION will host Parallel Session 21. Partners from across the project will discuss what we have learned over the past three and a half years and what it means for the future of battery reuse and recycling. Speakers and programme will be announced soon.
